Letting Nature In is a pop-up outdoor classroom designed for a post-Covid world. Playfully-shaped walls unfold from the base, creating touch points for a lightweight shading lattice. The project seeks the outdoors finally coming indoors, with a dynamic environment encased within a small footprint. With no solid or distinct envelope to separate outside from inside, grassy lawns and park-like gathering pockets normally reserved for playtime or recess function as full-time learning spaces with the capacity for social distancing built in.
